From a Stray Pup… to the Best Friend Our Family Could Ever Have

One rainy afternoon, on our way home, we came across a tiny puppy — soaking wet and curled up under the awning of a closed shop. No collar, no one searching, just a pair of sad eyes quietly watching people pass by — as if begging for a place to belong.

We decided to bring him home. We dried his soaked fur, gave him some warm rice and milk. At first, he was shy, retreating into a corner, trembling as if he had never known kindness. But just a few days later, he began wagging his tail and curling up at our feet — as though he had finally found his forever home.

We named him Lucky — because both he and we were lucky to find each other.

Lucky quickly became a special member of the family. Each morning, he’d run around waking everyone up, and every afternoon he’d sit by the door waiting for Mom and Dad to come home. With the kids, he’s an energetic playmate. For the grandparents, he’s quiet companionship and gentle joy.
